"Public transportation is accessible on the main roads and they don't run as often. I recommended driving if you can."

"I would be nice to be able to walk my dog to a dog park in the neighborhood instead of having to drive to Naugatuck or Meriden. I know a dog park is being created in Watertown but the location is too small. it would be mice to stay in my home town of Waterbury. "

"As this neighborhood grows you see more and more families walking and running without the fear of having to worry of others harassing them. it feels safe for kids and they seem to get alo g and share the parks that are available and kept up to par..."

"I live in Bunker Hill and the neighborhood is clean, safe, quiet, people are diverse and friendly. Schools in Bunker hill have great educators and very caring. My husband and i moved from NYC with our 9yr old son. I wanted a suburban feel didn’t want my backyard to be the forest. Buying our fist home in BUNKER HILL, Waterbury is the BEST decision my husband and I made to raise our son. WE LOVE IT here.. - MSL "

"Everyone is pretty chill. Most people mind their business but still are friendly. The neighborhood is well kept and there’s a good sense of security. "

"A car is definitely highly recommended. It is mainly a residential area and the bus stops are pretty far apart."

"It’s nice and quiet! I knew this was home when we came to visit homes before purchasing. My neighbors are nice and quiet, and don’t seem like much happens here, bad things that is!"

"I own my own vehicle but there is also public transportation that comes right by my house. The highway is also very close by so that helps as well."

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagehad a deeply disappointing experience with this school, which led me to remove my child from their Kindergarten program. My son had no issues in Pre-K, he began urinating on himself and became fearful of going to school—clear signs of distress. What’s most troubling is the complete lack of patience and understanding from the staff. I even had to report a teacher for putting their hands on my child—an unacceptable situation no parent should have to face. Since then, it’s been nothing but ongoing issues.I find it suspicious that the school has turned off public reviews, which makes it harder for parents to be informed. I strongly believe I’m not the only parent who has faced these kinds of problems. Every child deserves a safe, supportive learning environment, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.Parent Review11mo ago7 Reviews
