4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended Columbine since preschool and is now in second grade. He’s part of the bilingual program and is thriving in both reading and writing in both languages. He has made many friends, and we truly enjoy being part of the school community. The teachers have been wonderful—warm, supportive, and dedicated.Parent Review6mo ago19 Reviews - Shining Mountain Waldorf School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe feel incredibly grateful to have found Shining Mountain Waldorf School for our son’s early education. We moved to Boulder from Chile in July 2024, and as a Spanish-speaking child adjusting to a new culture, language, and environment, the transition could have been overwhelming. But the Bluebell classroom provided exactly the kind of nurturing, calm, and thoughtful space he needed. His teacher was patient, attentive, and truly compassionate—helping him not only with the language transition but also emotionally adapting to a completely new world. She made sure he felt safe, seen, and included every step of the way. Over the year, we saw him grow more confident, curious, and joyful in his learning. His progress in English has been remarkable, but what matters even more to us is how much he enjoys going to school and how cared for he feels there. The Waldorf approach has been a beautiful fit for our family, and we’re so happy to be part of this community. We’re excited to continue this journey with Shining Mountain!Parent Review9mo ago66 Reviews - Jarrow Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two kids have attended Jarrow for the past three years, and have experienced toddler through lower elementary. I can't say enough great things. The teachers are outstanding, the community is warm and loving (and there is a strong parent community as well), and the Montessori curriculum is excellent. My kids are both thriving and love going to school each day, and I love that there is an emphasis on the whole child my kids have learned a lot about grace and courtesy, and haven't had to deal with difficult cliques, in addition to having an outstanding academic education. I love Montessori's emphasis on self-directed learning and fostering a love of learning, which is very evident at Jarrow.Parent Review11y ago6 Reviews
