"There are lots of parks nearby for your fur babies and plenty of good restaurants to try. I’ve lived here over a year now and still haven’t tried all the restaurants. "

"It’s dog friendly from what I’ve experienced. I see people walking their dogs all the time. The parks all allow dogs on leash and some even provide bags for their waste."

"Scripps ranch is a nice neighborhood that’s motto is” country living” because of all the eucalyptus trees when you drive down Pomerado rd. "

"I’m going against the flow of traffic so it’s wonderful. Traffic’s a little busy in the morning going north and in the evening going south."

"Scripps is quiet and a little boring. I prefer to be able to walk to store with dog if I want. I think it’s too quiet. "

"It’s more of a suburban feel, rather than a city feel, though it’s still part of the city of SD. Parking isn’t impossible to find, things are more spread out, it’s quieter. I love this area."

"I love the neighborhood Trader Joe’s and super easy access to Miramar Lake. The lake has a 5 mile hiking loop and the schools in the area are some of the best in the state. "

"Great community. Many families have been here for several decades. A lot of scripps ranch community pride. Quick hop down the freeway to get to airport, beaches, downtown without having to live in the crowds."

"I’ve lived here for 19years in my parents house and my boyfriend’s parents house. There are some areas that are more “busy” and others that are less.. the lighting on the sidewalks is somewhat lit. Some of the lighting fixtures are older and dimly lit. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've just started our fourth year at this school, with two kids across four different classrooms. Our experience at SMS has been great. The teachers are supportive and engaged, as is the administrative team. Our kids are learning and happy and engaged. I love being able to drop them off in the mornings and know that they will be cared about, looked after, and taught, and I don't have to worry about them for the next five hours. I trust the teachers and the school to teach and care for my kids. The hands-on learning, outdoor time, small class sizes, hour-long lunch break, and focus on the child as an individual are also things we really appreciate about the school.Parent Review1y ago23 Reviews - Chabad Hebrew Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at CHA with our two preschoolers has been amazing. From day one, it was clear that the teachers truly care. They create such a warm, safe environment where our kids actually come home excited about what they’ve learned. We love how much the school focuses on their social and emotional growth, which is so important at this age. We’ve always felt welcomed and involved as parents. It’s a blessing to know our kids are in a place that is as supportive and inclusive as it is fun for them.Parent Review3mo ago21 Reviews
