"25 minutes but I drive against traffic. There is minimum public transportation. There can be heavy traffic if you are driving away from downtown in the morning and back in the afternoon."

"There is a diverse population here but dogs are universal. It’s something that makes the area easy to live in. Dogs allow you to meet new people and feel like you lived somewhere all your life"

"I grew up in Carmel valley and returned for the biotech industry. Amazing schools, incredibly safe area, hidden trails everywhere, and dog friendly. Incredibly expensive to buy"

"Safe and quiet neighborhood, great schools, no school bus system but most kids can walk to school, or parents join in carpools. Lots of community parks for soccer and baseball tournaments."

"I would describe my commute as easy. I work down town, travel often and often spend time in North county. This is centrally located and in a sweet spot where it’s less than 30 min to get to any of them!"

"It’s a very nice, well kept area but gas prices are about a dollar more here than anywhere else in the area. It’s also surrounded by businesses so it feels like a very corporate area with not very much to do. The closest Target is about 20 minutes away either north or south. "
