My daughters attended this school and I cannot express how unhappy we were with the new administration. Sadly, they have had decades with amazing teachers and administrators. However, the school decided to take a different direction last year and hire a Principal with zero experience or education with his most recent vocation being a police officer teaching Criminal Justice classes at a local college. None of this equates to being prepared to run a school effectively; it's laughable. He is a bully and his new teachers (whom the vast majority are not qualified either) are as well. 2nd graders have managed to walk off campus without staff noticing, a student fell off a boat on field trip and almost died, a middle school teacher brought her baby to school for several days and had her baby in the classroom, IEP's are not followed, teachers are allowed to download "curriculum" off the Internet and not use approved books, long term subs are usually a student's parent who has no business teaching children, etc. This school is not safe and there is no one monitoring (or anyone who even seemingly cares) that these events are happening. The new administration only cares about optics so their social media appears "fun" and "engaging"; these are just optics. I would encourage any parent who is considering this school to actually do their research on the school's academic programs, lack of expertise from the Principal and his entire team and overall mismanagement of this school. Don't waste your money like I did. Let this be a cautionary tale for you.
