Camp Pendleton South

Laurel has an incredible new leadership team that is doing wonderful things on campus. They have dedicated staff and teachers who create an inclusive environment for learning. There are many services available to students due to the community schools program at this site.

I was bullied at this school and they did nothing about it until I was so depressed I could barely attend. I was crying about it during an assembly (quietly) and the principal and counselor called me out infront of almost the entire school. I was eventually called into the counselors office to talk and I told him all the information he needed. I was very uncomfortable being near my bully who was an ex friend and i didn’t feel safe talking to her. The principal knew this and told me I HAD to talk to her after spring break even though I begged her not to make me. After this happened, I left the school. Would not recommend this school at all. I have heard multiple stories about people’s children being bullied for YEARS with no punishment.

North Terrace is a very warm, welcoming and family oriented school. The teachers and staff do all they can to make sure children feel safe and parents know they have nothing to worry about when leaving them for the day. North Terrace also has a very unique cultural environment. We not only have so many different military children from all over the world, but we also get to teach amazing civilian children. It's wonderful for all the children to learn so many things from each other about all the many differences and likeness' they have.

The staff at Santa Margarita is amazing! An Outstanding School!

The school has undergone significant improvements in recent years, with notable enhancements in leadership, teaching, and staff. The PTO plays an instrumental role in fostering a sense of community through regular family-oriented events and encourages new members to join. Although there is a duty supervisor who raises their voice to the children, the overall quality of the school is high! Our child loves this school
