Our daughter has now attended Grace Community Schools in Lake Forest for 2 years now for Preschool. She loved the teachers so much that she asked to go full time the 2nd year. Now our second daughter is also attending the preschool. She only goes 2 days a week and is so sad on the days she doesn't get to go to school. The staff and parent community are God first and come from different churches in the area. All of the staff we have ever spoken with are friendly, helpful, and always remember our children by name. It is the smaller class sizes and tight nit community that allows GCS to be around for the last 46 years. The school is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

We had a very disappointing experience at this daycare. While our child was enrolled, the facility received two citations for children being left unattended—something that’s both alarming and completely unacceptable.In addition, there was constant staff turnover—we saw more than five teachers leave during our time there. A majority of the best teachers had left and only one was still there but in a different classroom. Another major reason we decided to leave was the poor management. Repeated concerns—such as children pushing, kicking, biting others—were either downplayed or not addressed at all. When asked to speak to the owners their information would not be shared. We ultimately chose to move our child to a more stable and responsive daycare center. If you're considering this daycare, I strongly recommend reviewing their citation history and trusting your instincts. Your child’s safety and emotional well-being should always come first.
