Kiva Elementary truly feels like a home for our family. Both my girls grew so much here - academically, socially and emotionally. There is an incredible support system at the school - from our wonderful principal/assistant principal to our dedicated teachers and our supportive teachers aides and staff. There’ are so many opportunities for parents to be involved, and the school celebrates our volunteers. The PTO goes above and beyond and provides much added resources to the school each and every year. My favorite is getting to do Masterpiece Art in the classrooms every month with a huge art walk on campus in May. The theater program and robotics team are off the charts for an elementary school. My children also have been in the comprehensive gifted program the past couple years and have had incredible academics - critical thinking, small group work and the best teachers we can ask for our girls. We love you, Kiva Elementary!

As both a parent of former student and a former staff member, I highly recommend Navajo. The community is unmatched.

Pima staff and teachers do a wonderful job meeting the needs of every single student. The students are happy to be at school and show that they are ready to learn every single day! It is heart warming to see that teachers, staff, students and families have a great amount of pride for Pima!

This is our first (kindergarten) year at Pueblo elementary. It’s not what any parent expects or would be excited about (and we are a Spanish speaking family). It is a fast paced school, and a lot is demanded from both parents and students. That is what other mothers have informed opinions me as well. I do want to point out that it has a good school team to better assist children with learning difficulties. The teachers and rest of the staff are well mannered and good intentioned. Academically speaking, it is above average for the general population. Overall, it is a good atmosphere, the students learn and do seem happy at school, but then again shouldn’t all feel that way at any school?

This is such a special school tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Think public school meets Montessori, and you’d get Echo Canyon. The staff all cares, everyone knows everyone on campus, you constantly see admin out and about on campus helping out and interacting with the kids. The looping model keeps kids close as they grow together, and the class sizes make it possible to have a personable approach with each student. The campus is filled with beautiful gardens that the children use as a tool to learn through STEM, sustainability, and healthy living. Chef in the garden is one of the coolest experiences for the kids of all ages. On top of all of this, the staff takes security, safety, and mental health a top priority!

I am an alumnus of OLPH and my experience here was absolutely terrible. I was heavily bullied by many students here and even got my address leaked with a death threat by another student. The counselor basically told me that they can't suspend the student because their parents gave a lot of money to the school. The only thing i got was an in-person apology, with the counselor saying the student "didn't know what they were doing" and that it was a "joke," but we all know situations like this one should've been handled differently. Although the education was great and higher than most public schools, they need to do better at addressing bullying situations especially when it gets to addresses being leaked and death threats.
