My son has ADHD, and this school has truly been life-changing for him. He thrives with the structure and consistency of the Franklin program, and we’ve seen tremendous growth in both his academic skills and his confidence. Every staff member he interacts with greets him with genuine care, and he comes home talking about how they make him feel seen and supported. He is excited to go to school every single day—a feeling we never take for granted. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Franklin Downtown and are so grateful for the environment, routines, and relationships that have helped him shine.

The teachers go above and beyond to create a safe, engaging, and encouraging learning environment. They communicate well with parents and genuinely care about both academic growth and emotional well-being. It’s clear they take the time to understand each child’s individual needs.

This school ruined me the teachers were okay but the students were the problem. and the staff did NOTHING about it one kid pretended to be hitler and drew a mustache on himself and did the NAZI salute. teacher didn't even notice?? and when I reported it the counselor gave him a "talk". when the student came back he laughed it off and did it AGAIN little to ZERO consequences for literally impersonating hitler. A student i know was bullied by their peers for being transgender kids would ask them "do you need to wear a pad???" loud and rudely to them and laughed it off NO consequences!! the only good thing about this school is that the counselor's kind of make you feel better. this school made depression easy to develop and has destroyed many kids mental health. if tou're kid has behavioral issues dont send them too easy to get away with literal nazi,racism and transphobia in this school.

My son has ADHD and the teachers can’t handle it. My son isn’t jumping off walls but sometimes has to be redirected. They’re trying to kick him out because of his disability because “he’s receiving “ a lot of support according to them. Asst. principal ms Grover doesn’t EVER care to hear anything. If my son does something the same as another kid my kid gets in trouble. My son was attacked and the teacher couldn’t help my son so my son had to fight the kid off of him, and of course my son got in trouble for defending himself since he was told by the teacher “ I can’t do anything “. This school is a joke. Mrs Wright & I never really seen Eye to eye but NOW I UNDERSTAND HER WAY OF DISCIPLINE. And what her back. She logically would think &figure stuff out. My son was never depressed or had anxiety. But after this school year he was diagnosed with severe depression and severe anxiety. He always tells me he just wants the teachers to be nicer. The only teacher that knew how to do their job is Mrs. Torres! She’s an amazing teacher!! My sons mentalHealth was non existent! Now these people are putting my son through soo much! Finally making the move! They love picking on kids with learning disabilities and shutting them down! Not ok!!
