That longevity matters more than people may realize, and for our family, it made all the difference. In kindergarten, my son was struggling with letter sounds. His teacher, Mrs. Arnold, noticed the *smallest* window of opportunity—not even a true risk, just a slight concern. Instead of taking a wait-and-see approach, she immediately partnered with us. We talked through the programs available at the school and what support could help him succeed. She was proactive, thoughtful, and intentional about making sure he had what he needed.Fast forward to first grade, and my son landed in the perfect classroom with Mrs. Blick. She is an incredible match for him. She has creative, effective ways of teaching reading that you would never think of—and those skills come from her own personal experience. She truly understands how children learn differently. This is where the value of long-term teachers really shines. Mrs. Arnold *knew* which first-grade teacher would best meet my son’s needs and intentionally guided that transition. She also connected us with a tutor for additional support—Mrs. C, who happens to be the teacher Mrs. Arnold student-taught with. Even better, Mrs. C works closely with students at HTA.You will not find many schools where three teachers align so seamlessly to create the perfect path for a child. My son had the thinnest line of opportunity—not even a risk—and today he is reading, learning, and keeping pace with his peers. That happened because three dedicated teachers worked together, communicated, and truly cared.HTA is more than a school—it is a team that sees children, supports families, and does whatever it takes to help students succeed. We are incredibly grateful.Parent Review6mo ago27 Reviews - Coronado Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had kids at Coronado (in the mandarin immersion and special Ed program) for 8 years now and could not imagine a better experience. The administration, teaching staff, community, and curriculum have been so wonderful for each of our four kids. The PTO is even incredible. We feel so lucky to have found such an wonderful school! If more families had an experience like ours, no one would question how important public education is!Parent Review9mo ago27 Reviews - San Tan Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Gateway! We have been here for 4 years now and have had great experiences with the Teachers as well as all the staff. Ms. Lorraine at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful! Ms. Harris does a great job of putting the kids needs first and being a great leader! While there are so many things we enjoy at Gateway I just have to call out Ms. Julia, she is out there every morning and afternoon making sure the kids and their parents make us safely accross the street! But what she also does is brings a ray of sunshine to what can be a mundane task of being in the parent pickup line. She’s always smiling and waving to everyone that passes by. Mornings can be stressful, rushing to get everyone to school and to work but every time I see her I can’t help but smile. And I see it on the faces of so many others that cross her path! She is doing a great job and is a wonderful ambassador of the Gateway spirit!Parent Review10mo ago19 Reviews - Centennial Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI want to like Centennial Elementary, but there are serious issues that need attention. The administration’s communication has been unreliable, which makes it hard to trust that concerns are being handled appropriately. Additionally, bullying and inappropriate language on the playground have been recurring problems. I hope the school takes steps to create a safer, more respectful environment for all students.Parent Review1mo ago22 Reviews - Gilbert Christian Schools

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur children have been in both public and private schools in two states, and we could not be more grateful for the care, attention and academic and athletic excellence Gilbert Christian provides to their students. They work alongside each child to truly help them excel in their string areas of learning and development and support them in the areas that may be more challenging. The staff and teachers approach every matter with a strong biblical base, loving God and serving others. We look forward to continuing our children’s education at GCS!Parent Review3mo ago56 Reviews - Creo Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been attending CREO Montessori since he was 7 months old, and I truly couldn't be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, I felt completely at ease dropping him off each day, knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. The teachers are incredible—you can genuinely tell how much they love what they do and how deeply they care about each child. They take the time to share resources and practical advice so we can support the Montessori approach at home, which has made such a positive difference for our family.I’m so grateful to have a school like CREO Montessori in our community. It has been a wonderful foundation for my son's early years, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to families considering the school at any grade level.Parent Review1mo ago25 Reviews
