As with any education, you get what you put into it. We moved here 12 years ago, with four school age children. Two have graduated, one is attending U of A, the other Hendrix. My Hendrix student has interned at HP and Amazon and is going to work at Google after he graduates. My other two will be going to Hendrix and John's Hopkins. Our children's education should not be solely the school's responsibility, but also the parents.

10 out of 10 do not recommend. The school district allows bullying my son has been going here since the third grade and he has been bullied to the extent that he has thought about suicide. I am well known at the school I'm up there more often than I would like because of the bullying and they always have some sort of excuse and gaslighting is there go to performance. Of course my son has made mistakes but not to the extent of what is dictated to me as a parent. Today my son was slapped in the face in the science class by another student and my son slapped the other child back. Because he took up for himself he got a zero on his assignment and ISS for the next week while the other child received nothing. This is the typical around Mountain Home if your name is not a popular one and your family is not wealthy your case is going to loose. Sad but true! This is only one of the many instances that has taken place over the last 4 years. I wish I had written every single one in a notebook to put in front of the school board not that it would matter of course but at least I would feel better for fighting my son's case.
