"Nice place to walk with leashed dogs! Dogs should be curbed and the University park is very nice to walk your dog"

"It’s college kids. It takes 10-12 minutes to walk to very central places but it’s college kid area. I love to walk so the walk is nice, but construction is always there and the price of every day things are marked up. I do love 12th Street-it’s slightly calmer and than the Other streets. "

"It’s an 8 minute walk to edge of campus, it’s amazing if you’re in school. You can walk places if you want, but not many options to walk to, unless you want to walk really far to Downtown. "

"The area behind “The Strip” (Surin, Publix, Houndstooth, etx) has the highest crime (car break-ins, burglary, assault, etc) but by no means would I suggest walking alone at night even in complexes that have security on duty. "

"The University fo Alabama is pretty cool. It’s loud, but fun. I have grown out of it. Great for when you are in college"

"This is a big college area filled with students from the University of Alabama. It can be crazy in this area of football weekends in the fall"

"Wonderful area, convenient to shopping, restaurants, and University of Alabama. Highly desirable historic neighborhood in the center of town. Wooded street of unique homes. Opportunities to buy into this area are rare and prices reflect the exclusivity and location."
