"This serene area is going thru a cycle right now. The neighborhoods were mostly built in 60s and 70s and many of the original owners are now passing away so there has been opportunities to move in and update these homes. The is some big swings as to prices because either the older owner let the home go/or their estate just wants price to sell quickly or there have been new owners come in and update the homes. This one of the most convenient locations in Mobile. Tons of schools, shopping and friendly neighbors. Commute time is stellar to anywhere."

"This community was built round St. Dominic Catholic church in the 60's. It is well maintained, low crime and full of children. Homes and yards are well maintained. Sidewalks thru out a majority of the neighborhood, wide good roads. Homes have always been sought out here. We have primarily college educated married couples living here. Ages run the entire gamet. Your have those who have lived here since the 60's and those who have moved back wth their kids because they loved it growing up so much. Theres even a small lake in the area. You also have two swim clubs, a bowling alley and golf course within 5 minutes as well as the local Mims baseball/football park an the Cottage Hill Park with its soccer/baseball fields/walking/running/skating track and wonderful picnic area with playground. This neighborhood is ideal."
