Thankful for our school system. They are growing and improving in every area! 10/10

Lakeside has academic strengths and many families who genuinely care about the school. Some teachers are dedicated, and students who are motivated can do well.Over time, however, we have grown concerned about leadership decisions, consistency in discipline, and overall school culture. Safety issues have not always been handled with the seriousness or transparency we expected, and disciplinary responses have felt uneven.Classroom management varies widely. While some classrooms are well run, others struggle, which affects learning. Communication around serious concerns has been frustrating and has left families feeling unheard.As a former student and current parent with experience in both public and independent schools, it has been difficult to watch the school drift from practices that best support student well-being and fairness. Lakeside has a strong foundation, but improvements in leadership accountability and consistency are needed for families to feel confident long-term.
