As a parent, I use to love this school and would highly recommend it to everyone. We have been associated with the school for 13+ years. It was good when it was good but it seems they can't keep teachers and last year they let go or "fired" the long time grammar principal and her assistant. This was in an effort to save the school with the constant decline in enrollment as there were already in a financial bind. The Classical education is NOT for everyone, really only for very few. If your child doesn't live and breathe school, please don't send them to a school that will only make them feel like a total failure. If you have more than one child, the school may be for one child but not the others which also is an issue. The schools does not offer sports and condones students that are checked out for games even if they are an excellent student. They have a way of forcing students out of the school which is not the Christian way. I have witnessed a lot of great families leave and with the tuition so high there are only a select number of families that can afford it.

My son has autism and loves Pelham Ridge. He started in the inclusion program and just finished his Kindergarten year! They treated him like he was one of their own!

Gospel Light Baptist Academy is IMO the best place to send your child! They have a nursery and K2 through 12 grades. All of the staff and teachers there genuinely care about each student. Not only do they learn the core subjects, but children also learn about our Lord and Savior.
