Dunlap came under new leadership in 2023 and is making remarkable improvements since. My son is excited to go to school. Enjoys what he is learning. If there are behavioral issues, they are handled immediately. Lots of changes in the last couple years and all for the better imo.

Stephanie Bruce is not a good principal. No communication, with 5th graders coming in, they have not been embraced with clubs and extracurricular activities, this falls right on Stephanie Bruce, and her poor leadership and how she chooses not to lead. I would not recommend Pennfield, because of Stephanie Bruce and how the Middle School is ran.

What a great bunch of educators! The staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that they participate in community projects and ask for nothing in return. The school's leadership is incredible. All of the staff communicate consistently and effectively. Additionally, the protection of the students is held in the highest regard. Thanks again Purdy!

Katrina Hill has sent this school into a downward spiral. We've had such great encounters with the previous principals. When meeting with Katrina she is quick to roll her eyes, and shut down any conversation. She is not pleasant nor welcoming to students or parents. She takes the approach of "My way or the highway". She doesn't try to think pragmatically or look at the larger community picture. Very disappointed in the districts decision to move her to high school.
