10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMemorial truly prepared me academically. Couldn't have asked for a better education, and in that regard it definitely deserves 10/10. I've had university classes easier than classes I took here. I would feel very comfortable sending my child here. The main downside is the cliques, and the difficulty I've seen new students have trying to make friends. Many people in Eau Claire have lived here for generations and though it's a large town, everyone still manages to know everyone--especially because the south side (54701) and the north side (54703) are virtually different towns completely. There's also a slight drug problem and some people complain of a lack of friendliness. Move here when your kids are young and get them involved in activities and you should be fine.Other Review9y ago3 Reviews - South Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey don't care about the kids well being at this school, especially when a child reaches out for help in dire need, they say there's nothing they can do.Other Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Meadowview Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMeadowview school is a FANTASTIC school! Full of wonderful children who are willing to make great friendships to all ages and the teachers are great too! They do send home quite a bit of homework-especially it only being an Elementary school, but it only drives your child to continue working harder towards their goals and keep focused and not forget! Reading of course is every child's #1 need! We already enjoy reading and listening to our children read, a great bonding moment, plus it teaches them! Math is #2. They send homework for both each day, but make it fun! -- Love when they have concerts and we really love "Class Messenger!" We had some GREAT teachers who really focus on this and take photos of their classroom to allow parents to jump in and see what their children are learning and doing through out the day :) -- I appreciate ALL the teachers who take time from their day so parents can see this, so THANK YOU! -- We have been here for 3 years with 2 children and are looking forward to more years here! Trust me, you will love it and most importantly your children will too :)Parent Review10y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near White Pine Dr E.

"Too many Dogs, people don’t clean up after them. I can’t mow my lawn without stepping in it. It’s not that I don’t love Dogs,I do but owners need to be more responsible for their pets and have respect for their neighbors."

"There are many bus stops here, but unfortunately the lines don't go far enough for my place of work specifically. I drive and there is good access to the highways and larger arterial roads here. Also some roads have bike lanes."

"There are many parks and it is relatively safe. At night you may want to be with someone however. Besides some of the more major roads, it's safe and conformable to walk around."

"Wonderful neighborhood. The elementary school is in my backyard so my kids walk to school, but even better in the summers because they have the school playground. Walking distance to near by shopping. Neighbors are friendly. By far the best neighborhood that my 4 kids have lived in. We love love love Eau Claire in general. Trust me....we've had to move to different states a lot for my husbands job. I told my husband I want to stay here until all our kids are out on their own. This neighborhood gets an A+ rating from this family."
