4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you want to send your child to a school where they will get bullied, then this is the school for you. The principal ignores your phone calls and emails and reroutes them to the dean (who seemed to be the only person that actually cared about my student at the school). The teachers get away with making inappropriate comments towards students, including telling the entire class about my daughters past prior to being adopted(without her permission), and the school claims to be "non punitive" in order to excuse the bully's behavior. She was made fun of for her appearance, for having two moms, for having short hair, for being adopted the list goes on and on. There is zero accountability, and my student was choked by another student in which I was not notified of. She came home crying almost every day and was told that people were mean because it was her fault. We moved here from another state where she was excelling in school, her grades dropped severely the first grading period here, she was told she was ahead of all the other children, but her grades did not reflect that. When we asked for homework to work on the subjects she was struggling with the teacher told my student "That homework was stupid and that her mom's wouldn't be able to teacher her the work anyways" If I could give this school -5 stars I would.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Wilson Middle School

"Pretty accessible to main roads. Biking lanes plenty but sketchy due to zooming drivers. Lots of ppl walking dogs. There are some rough pockets unsafe for walking at night "

"Public transit is limited to busses. I don’t recommend taking the bus for safety reasons. For most trips you will need to drive a vehicle. "

"idk dont have kids never will. but let ur kids experiment with their hair, they're gonna do dugs either way to support them thru it and let them know ur gonna be there for them no matter what but dont say that if you dont mean it. if ur love for ur child is conditional then could it truly be love?"

"You certainly need a vehicle to get around Albuquerque. It’s a shame that there’s only two major highways to get you anywhere in the city. Leads to lots of congestion."

"Sometimes dog owners don’t pick up their dogs mess for whatever reason. Seeing dog droppings isn’t common but unfortunately there’s those few bad lemons that just leave their dogs business behind. Unfortunately another issue is the dog barking that happens often with owners ignoring them all day. Again, not often that it happens but it does. "
