"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 10 years. It’s a great little community and the neighbors all watch out for each other."
    • Macayla.jaeger2018
"There are parks near by and great places to walk where you feel safe in your own area, I usually walk with my husband or have a dog with me but that’s just my preference to not walk alone"
    • Trulia User
"Very family friendly and animal friendly. I feel a sense of community as well. I walk this neighborhood daily "
    • Bcanady608
"There is a boys and girls club that provides activities and guidance for children after school. There is also many fine parks in my neighborhood area. The children can play ball and ride their bikes on my street without worrying about people running them over. The streets are posted with a speed limit sign that also warns drivers that children are playing. "

"I have only lived in this neighborhood for a year and a half but I grew up in Springfield. I would say this is a safe neighborhood compared to many others in the area."
    • Pbyoung3777
"friendly neighbors, quiet area, close to shopping, resteraunts, parks, and schools. havent had any problems with crime or loud noise nuisances at all. "
    • Karamia K.
"Friendly neighborhood. Everyone is willing to lend a hand and looks out for each other. Not to far from local colleges, about 5 minutes away from OTC and MSU and down town. This area is a very convenient, central location of Springfield."
    • obbopp
"A safe place to live. Affordable housing for working-class folks. Close to everything Springfield has to offer. Plenty of public transportation traversing the area. A short drive to major roads leading throughout the city and surroundings. I have never heard of any flooding problems in this area and the city utilities are well-installed and maintained. I have lived in many places across the USA and this area is among the quietest and safest I have lived in."
