Unfortunately, my experience with Arroyo has been extremely frustrating due to the complete lack of responsiveness from the principal, counseling team, and management staff. Repeated attempts to reach out for assistance—whether regarding academic concerns, student well-being, or administrative matters—have gone unanswered or been met with generic, unhelpful responses.The counseling department, which should be a key resource for students, is nearly impossible to get in touch with, leaving students and parents without guidance when it's needed most. The principal and administrative staff seem disengaged, showing little effort in addressing concerns or even acknowledging inquiries.A school should be a place where communication is prioritized, especially when it comes to student success and well-being. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. If you are considering this school, be prepared for frustration and a lack of support from leadership.I truly hope the administration takes these concerns seriously and implements changes to improve their responsiveness and commitment to their students and families.

((BE AWARE)) THEY ALLOW BULLYING AT ALL COST OF YOUR CHILD!!!My child has been getting bullied for 3 months straight. I made for then 50+ complaints and absolutely NOTHING has been resolved. Student hasn’t even had their recess taken away after physically and verbally bullying my child and looking under the bathroom 2 times why my child used the restroom. (Sexual harassment) I’ve filed an actual bully complaint (nothing). Principal has made more excuses of why this kid is basically getting away with EVERYTHING! I feel like also has to do with RACE as the “bully” is of a more privileged race as of my child is not. The district need to do a major investigation on this type of stuff and who they give the privilege to run an elementary school. Yes, I have also filed a complaint to the district and have heard nothing with a response date of 3/18/22

Negative one. Admin is in constnat reactive mode to problems but wont take a stand against so many social ills that plague the place. Kids regularly run around out of control on campus and noone does anything about it. Gen ed teachers dont attend IEP meetings

My main issue with this school is the safety. For example, this year we had a student who should have been expelled for sexual harassment, but was instead given 3 days of suspension. It's an okay school but it has some huge problems.
