Putting aside the fact that MRJH is in the top 20% statewide in proficiency scores, my kids like to go to school there. That speaks volumes to me about the teachers, counselors, administrators, and other students. As a parent, I’ve enjoyed helping with the science fair, 5K fun run, school musical snack bar, academic awards night and a variety of other activities. Our family has had an overall great experience there.

In my experience, Cedar Ridge and it's leadership are ill-equiped to deal with students who have special needs. For students who need more support, instead of trying to accommodate and work with these students and their families, they do everything they can to ignore their needs and push them along the educational conveyor belt. On the other end of the spectrum, if your student is bright but is not in an ALL class, they will also be ignored.

i Did not like lone peak high school. Many of the kids there were awful and bullied me everyday causing me to switch schools. However I gave it a 4 because the teachers were great and they had awesome educational programs and the extracurriculars were awesome. I’m graduated (2023) and I am happy where I am currently.
