4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you want your child to learn, do not send them to Holmes Road elementary the teachers they do not care about the keys education if your child is a slow learner, they will try to put your child in speed that would be resource and push your child to the side and we’ll let you know. They have a life of their own and kids that they have to take care of their self so your child will not be there priority at all even when they’re at work they are there for a paycheck only I recommend you to take your child somewhere else before it’s too late.Parent Review3w ago5 Reviews - John P. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has really declined since 2005. You used to know, without a doubt, that you were receiving the best educators in the Mid-South. The teachers now do not care about the students’ advancements and often times participate in the bullying culture that has exploded there. The administrators do not listen to parent complaints and often times put their students more at risk for bullying, harassment, and a diminished education. There is not a culture of learning and the school seems to only care about what the parents can pay for and funding. Mrs. Parks was truly the best principal the school ever had and I wish she, among others, did not leave the institution as it greatly damaged the reputation they have in the community. The students are stressed out about the academics and cannot retain information past taking a test. There are no support pillars in place for struggling students, both academically and emotionally. I know of quite a few students that have faced bullying and harassment with no consequence to the perpetrators. I wish there were better schools for our children in the area that actually cared about their physical safety, mental health, and emotional wellbeing.Parent Review4mo ago4 Reviews - Fairley High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a graduate of Fairley, 1974. It is sad to see how the school's rating is so low on this site. Fairley was a great school when I attended. Reading some of the comments from students is a little disturbing. Most of the reviews have badly misspelled words and terrible English. The test scores look low compared with the rest of Memphis. I am proud of the education that I received at Fairley. I have many fond memories. Along with many of my friends, I went on to receive my BS and Masters degrees. I wonder how many from Fairley now go on to finish college? I hope Fairley will one day be restored to her former excellence.Other Review16y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Tulane Rd.

"It’s ok over here. I like the elderly people who are truly amazing. The neighborhood is decent for the most part, I actually feel safe even though it’s lower income in some areas. My kids like to go outside and it’s lots of space to play for them. I still wanna move though. I just want to have more room and a quieter environment. I honestly need a safe place to own a pet. I worry about his safety. "

"I have lived in the Diamond Estates Community for 20 years now and I have never had any problems. Everyone focuses on the upkeep of their home and maintaining their property value. You will not make a bad choice when choosing this community. "

"Our neighborhood is gated and code locked. The Day Estates subdivision is predominantly African American. No crime whatsoever happens behind our gates. We know each neighbor by name. It’s a small community, maybe 20 homes. The owner of the land lives in the neighborhood. The Day Estates should have a much higher property value than its given. "
