5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am deeply concerned about the repeated removal of my child from class at Melrose Elementary School. He is being put out of class on a daily basis, which is unacceptable and directly impacting his education.I have already notified both his teacher and the principal about this ongoing issue. Despite making them aware, the situation has not been corrected. Removing a student from class every day is not discipline — it is exclusion. In addition, my child has reported that his hair was pulled out while at school. This is extremely serious and adds to my concern about his safety and overall treatment. No child should experience physical harm or feel unsafe in their learning environment. This pattern raises serious concerns about fairness and equal treatment. My child deserves the same opportunity to learn as every other student without being repeatedly singled out or removed from class.I am demanding full documentation of each removal, a clear explanation for these actions, and an immediate corrective plan. I also expect this matter to be reviewed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools.I expect accountability and prompt action. My child’s education and safety will not continue to be compromised.Parent Review3mo ago5 Reviews - Brownsville Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike I have seen a lot of problems with the SPED Department they have these few about of kids treating others unfairly and threatening to hurt others and it’s not fair how they are not getting in trouble or anything to do with this or cancel the programs like role models it’s not that fair neither is the security they don’t do anything and neither the students are not good school shouldn’t exist. government pulls kids out of homes to learn I mean it takes away our fun time and it’s not that good to do that it just makes them dumber if they were bored usually that’s why the government is bad barely funds on schools for kids futures plus they need to improve more classes like art it takes forever to add it they have empty classes that are barely used it would be more better to add art classes that teach you how to draw good I wish this would be more better if Brownsville was not a school it would be a problem with the constant threatsOther Review2y ago3 Reviews - Miami Northwestern Senior High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school fails every single child that enters its premises. Even if your child does well while attending mnw, they would’ve done tremendously better at another school. Only a handful of teachers can do their jobs well, the others are simply incompetent. Violence is normal within the facility and students have become desensitized, even encouraging towards acts of hostility. They preach respect but have no respectable attributes. Please send your child elsewhere.Parent Review3w ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near Tillman.

"The city doesn’t have any regulations or restrictions on outdoor lighting. A lot of the buildings have excessive and unnecessary lights on all night so you have to invest in blackout shades. Also be sure to be careful crossing the streets and traffic is really bad all day. "
