This is especially true for students who do not add value to the perception that the school and district is looking for. Students who need motivation and someone to care about them have no one to turn to in this school. The school has had multiple lockdowns this year, with one incident involving a kid bringing a gun to school. The school does not have a working intercom system and there were teachers who did not even know about the student in the school with the gun, so they did not lock down their classrooms. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers above 1st grade ignore parents and special needs kids. They even go so far as to hide them in photos, push them out of class for misunderstood behaviors and won't talk to parents at all unless forced. Send kids to Hemingford.
