5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLook, it’s an okay school, but some of the teachers… I’ve had TERRIBLE experiences with particularly math teachers. Here’s the thing, I genuinely enjoy math, but the terrible teachers I’ve had have made it living hell. Complete disregard for students when they struggle-for example. Student asks a question because they’re confused->teacher decides that the student is clearly stupid and cannot be helped, often responding along the lines of “well, just understand it then.” Not how it works guys. Many offer extra time outside of school for help, but most of them are just genuinely unhelpful. THIS IS NOT JUST ME. I know a plethora of students who have voiced this opinion, and it’s getting ridiculous. Especially because a couple of these teachers are apparently well liked and respected by other staff, yet all of the students agree that they are not good teachers. Weird, huh. Anyway, I promise I’m not trying to bash the school, it’s a pretty okay school otherwise, but some of the teachers are just not high quality.Student Review1y ago16 Reviews - Liberty Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLiberty Middle School is a welcoming and supportive environment where students are encouraged to grow both academically and personally. The teachers are dedicated, caring, and always willing to help students succeed. The school offers a variety of activities and programs that help students discover their interests and build confidence. The campus feels safe, organized, and focused on learning. Overall, Liberty Middle School does an excellent job preparing students for high school and beyond.Student Review4mo ago20 Reviews - Powell Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been at Colin Powell Elementary from kindergarten through 6th grade in the general education program, and we absolutely adore the teachers and staff. They are caring, dedicated, and make learning a wonderful experience. My son receives support through an IEP for his ADHD, and the staff have been incredibly supportive and loving toward him. They even attend his soccer games on Saturdays to cheer him on, which means so much to our family. To parents who feel that having children with autism or ADHD disrupts the classroom: public schools are designed for all students, and Fairfax County schools, like many across the country, are currently facing teacher shortages. The staff at Colin Powell Elementary are doing their absolute best to meet the needs of every child, and we are so grateful for their hard work and dedication.Parent Review7mo ago16 Reviews - Check out schools near Stringfellow Rd.

"Most people here are pet friendly most of the time. We have excellent trails for the dogs to burn extra energy. Many of the people gather in a open lot and play pick up volleyball as a tension tamer. Everyone seems to keep an eye out for the other "

"I've lived here for three years, I wish I hadn't gotten sucked into the vicious cycle. It is over priced as a whole, I believe because Clifton is on the nicer spectrum. the schools are mostly REALLY bad. Poor teaching skills and no backbone to stop constant bullying and abuse that goes on in the schools. "
