3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I have been fairly happy with this school. I have 2 children attending this school and they have been there for multiple years. The teachers care about the students and the principal does the best she can with the funds and resources she has. She works hard to coordinate additional opportunities for the students whenever possible. My only complaints are as follows:1) I wish there was more STEM learning for students.2) Communication can be lacking sometimes. By this, I mean that some teachers use email, others use Class Dojo, and others send home paper copies. Sometimes it is hard to keep track of what format information with be arriving. Additionally, I wish the teachers provided a syllabus for the year, so that parents can initiate conversations and learning opportunities for their students outside of class. However, with a little proactiveness from the parents, the teachers and staff are willing to provide these things.Overall, this is a good school for you to send your children to.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Morse High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately , Morse currently has two toxic assistant principals. Naneka Jones & Markal Lincoln are self-serving and use destructive, dysfunctional behaviors to manipulate, intimidate, and harm others for personal gain. This leadership style creates an unhealthy work environment that erodes morale, diminishes productivity, and leads to high staff turnover. These two often display traits of narcissism, lack of empathy, blame-shifting, and favoritism. Ultimately leaving employees and the organization in a worse condition than they found them.Other Review9mo ago13 Reviews - Check other nearby schools

"I drive everywhere. There aren’t many sidewalks, although that has started to change, but there are also a lot of hills which makes walking difficult regardless "

"They would like it because there’s a bunch of people here that have dogs. They walk them around the neighborhood, there’s also a park nearby. They wouldn’t like this neighborhood because there’s a few coyotes here at night. A lot of cars pass by during the night. A lot of cats."

"there are different areas of spring valley. where I am is a lot of commercial, so it is convenient however it lacks the neighborhood feel. I will say though in my experience everyone seems genuinely very friendly in the businesses as well as the neighbors. it is a good community."

"Most of spring valley is quiet and most people carrie on their business and don't bother anyone. Some kids can be a little vulgar and tend to bully others so of you have children I advise walking with them if they walk to and from school. "
