8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter loves this school as do I. The staff and teachers really do their best to make sure every child is getting the help they need. The teachers work closely with parents and really listen to our concerns if any and immediately resolve them. My daughter takes speech and OT and when I tell you Ms.Foley and Ms. Ruiz are phenomenal with their kiddos extremely patient, understanding and always sending home feed back I’m not even exaggerating. The diversity in this school is beautiful to see aswell. The principal is also very involved with his staff and students. I trust this school whole heartedly with my child’s education and I hope you do too.Parent Review1y ago16 Reviews - John Jay Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent. We love this school and the whole district. We have many years teaching experience in a variety of schools. I taught in NYC and Chappaqua! This is the best you can get and at a bargain rate for your tax dollars!!!Teacher Review8y ago15 Reviews - Van Wyck Junior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is by far the WORST school my children have ever been in. Bullying is an ongoing thing and staff turns their heads and act like they have no clue what is happening. My daughters 2 years here were genuinely the worst 2 years of her life. She endured relentless bullying from students, and every single time we went to the principal Gregory Vandecarr, he reassured me and my husband that the school was going to take action promptly, and that was never ever done. The kids were never held accountable and never received discipline, and the problem was never spoken about ever again. And the bullying never stopped. The bullying got so bad that in 2024 my daughter tried to take her own life. I fully believe that if something had been done to stop those kids that would have NEVER happened. Teachers, guidance counselors, even the drivers of the school bus my daughter was getting bullied on never said a word to these kids. Teachers heard my daughter getting bullied, bus drivers heard it, my daughter went to her guidance counselor about the bullying, and NOTHING WAS EVER DONE. My daughter got pushed down the stairs by a girl, and her head slammed into the brick wall, and when she used her phone to alert me and my husband while she was at the nurse, the nurses scolded her for telling us and that “this is the reason we don’t allow phones in school, because you guys tell your parents before we have a chance to” mind you, my daughter had been in the office for an HOUR, when were you going to call us and tell us?!!! Never. They were trying to refuse me and my husband to pick her up from school to take her to the doctor because “she was fine and there wasn’t anything to be done”. This school is vile and should NOT have the awards for anti bullying and other things like they do. They are completely false and should be removed immediately.Parent Review1mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Skyline Dr #11.

"I don't commute. Doesn't apply to me. When I do have to go somewhere though, main street is packed with traffic during most afternoons. It's best to get all your errands done in the morning."

"As above. Have lived here almost 10 years. The board keeps us updated on projects and offers congenial get togethers. The pool Sauna and Whirlpool are a welcome therapy. The neighbors are close together but respectful of your privacy. I enjoy my garden and living on the grass floor. The grounds are well and regularly kept. Their is no or little noise."
