7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKingsgate is an older school in an aging district of Moore schools. The demographics of the area have continually changed over the last 20 years, as all of OKC has. I've never had a problem with my 3 kids attending this school because the staff has always been good. The only issue I have is that some of the students attending are not being well taken care of at home, leading to behavior issues for the teachers and the other students which inevitably affects their learning. I think the faculty of this school does an excellent job with the cards they are dealt. But it's time for me to move out of the area because of a more steep decline recently.Parent Review4y ago7 Reviews - West Junior High School

"The neighborhood park is nice and well taken care of. There are all ages of kids. It is typically quiet at night. For the most part traffic is good, but sometimes too fast during peak hours. "

"They are infested with roaches and black mold and they refuse to do anything about it. Poor management, they are rude and don’t know how to run a business "

"I’ve lived here for three years. It’s quiet and peaceful. I plan on living here as long as possible. Yes there are a lot of homeless people but no issues so far. I do see a lot of people going for walks with and without pets. I love it here. Excellent landlords. "

"Traffic is really bad in OKC and it’s very hard to walk anywhere unless you’re downtown. We do have a lot of really good restaurants out here and some interesting history."

"We have cookouts, fireworks (that we probably shouldn’t have 😄), birthday parties, and next week we’re having a retirement party. We decorate for holidays and don’t get things stolen, and we don’t get our packages stolen either. "

"Turnpike is 4 minutes away or 7 minutes during A.M. rush hour due to cars backed up 2 traffic lights. Traffic flows well on frontage roads, except rush hour. Afternoons especially, traffic backs up at turnpike exits. The wait to drive through an intersection can be 3-4 cycles of traffic lights."

"you do see other people walking their dogs? We just like to have them on leashes there are a lot of dog parks in Oklahoma City. If you just look for them great groomers in Oklahoma City downtown area."

"It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. The neighbors that I have met are very friendly and watch out for other’s homes. Some of us trade pet care and, mail and lawn watering chores if the other is out of town. The number of families with families has increased since I moved in. In 2010 most people close to retirement age older. My child was 3 1/2. The children from several families up and down the street play nicely together. I’m not aware of any crime and have lived here 15 years. "

"Are you still late for your just a few years ago and the neighborhood has gotten much better. A lot of the houses are getting remodeled and a younger group of people seem to be moving in. You’re close to Classen which gives you access to most all the districts in Oklahoma City quite easily. Definitely saw the song less than desirable areas but seems to be improving."
