"It’s very friendly in the neighborhood! The backyards are spacious and everyone seems to know everyone. They all have their daily activities and everyone knows when everyone should be home. "

"I love the location of this neighborhood. Close to downtown, friendly neighbors, and beautiful historic homes. It has its flaws but I’m thankful this was my first renting experience."

"People most of the time don’t pick up after their dogs. Some people will not have dogs on leashes or can’t control their dogs."

"Driving from the middle of town to the east side to drop my child at daycare, then drive downtown takes 15-20 minutes in the morning. Going from downtown to the north part of town in the afternoon takes 10."

"It’s a peaceful little area still close to businesses. I see dogs being walked all the time. I had the chance encounter of finding a dog in the area as well and was able to readily return him with a well labeled tag."

"Watch for idiot drivers, as well as random kids on 4 wheelers. It's not as bad as some neighborhoods and better than most. "

"Everyone has at least 2 dogs. Our block alone is home to 17! We also have a very narrow street and people park their motorhomes right in front of their houses. And there's always at least one guy shooting off fireworks, no matter the time of year. it's a hoot. "

"Lots of children play in the area, the park is a safe and popular area, and the majority of the properties are well maintained? The only negative i have for the area, is that cars seem to travel a bit faster than i would like with all the children who roam the neighborhood. "

"It’s quiet there are good neighbors we have 2 acres so it’s not like we live in the city when we are in our back yard. Stores are very close by and the high school is only 2 blocks away. We have had minimal issues with any crime and what we have had has been very minor. "

"There are so many dogs walking your dog sets every dog you pass by to barking, even if you are not walking your dog! On the plus side, everyone cares about dogs and helps return lost dogs."

"I grew up in this neighborhood and have been back here for 3 years. I love our little West End community. People are friendly, and look out for one another. But they also just let you do you and they don't sweat the small stuff. They mind their own business, and yet care about one another. It's a great neighborhood for laid back people."

"This neighborhood is relatively low income. People look out for each other, but not too many of us know each other's names. There is a great park and a community center nearby. The elementary school is safe, but not exceptional. "
