"Nice people. They seem trustworthy. I would trust middle aged kids to walk around. Nice restaurants. Seems family oriented. "
  • Officialkwayne
"Not much besides a lot of room for walking ur dog and exercise ... quiet and safe neighborhood to live"
  • Shannondoa2
"Close location to my job and easy road access to surrounding shopping. The highway is close enough, but not so close that you hear traffic. The roads are well kept and neighborhood mowing and maintenance is handled on a seasonal basis."
  • Nancy L.
"the city employees are very helpful and make a difference for us when we stop and stay at the local RV PARK. "
  • Mary M.
"Swisher and 35 often gets jammed by traffic during rush hour. A lot of people take this exit. I live 5 mins from my job so it’s not a big deal, and I get off work before rush hour. "
  • Kirbymag
"Lake Dallas is a hidden Gem, some of it looks a little warn down and some of the streets need to be replaced but the people are great. Most people have lived here for 10 plus years and it feels very safe. "
  • Hollyhalll
"Lake dallas is a small town right in the center of many bigger, growing towns. It still has that small-town feel where the whole town gets together for holidays like 4th of July etc, the police will stop and pet your dog, the few restaurants/bars we have are quaint and local owned, there's a hoppin' VFW, and there is little after-hours noise disruption. Many perks of small town living enjoyed from the very center of the metroplex. 30 minutes or less from all points. Denton, Frisco, Lewisville, Little Elm, etc, etc. Only thing is that it's SUCH an old school type small town that they still smoke in the bars here."
  • Kelsey W.
"People are always walking their dogs. The marinas are good places to let dogs run. There are great dog parks within 10-15 minutes!"
  • Corbettbacon
