9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a parent who has sent three children through Loma Vista, and I have continually been impressed with the teachers at every level, and Mrs. Croy does an amazing job as principal. We feel that learning is prioritized, diversity is actually celebrated (not just in name but in experiences, committees, international nights, etc), and my kids have all been excited to go to school. Every employee from the crossing guards to the administration REALLY cares about our kids. I love how the school does their best to keep families with the same teachers even years later, and we have been so happy with our experience.Parent Review5mo ago9 Reviews - Adams (J. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has a lot of fights, bullying and theft. The administrators seem more interested in sweeping things under the rug rather than taking care of their students. Lots of transfer students who clearly don't live in the area cause a majority of the above issues. They also opened up the district lines to include portions of Antioch. My daughter got surrounded and threatened by a mob of 30 kids (transfer students) and not a single student was disciplined. The vice principal's solution was for my daughter to hideout in the library during lunch. Also a gun was brought to school and the parents weren't notified for hours and even then we were only provided very minimal information. Would not recommend this school! Sad because I think academically speaking the school is pretty set. But safety speaking, forget about it!Parent Review1mo ago8 Reviews - Heritage High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHeritage is a good school when it comes to the choices of classes, the organization, certain programs like theater, etc. Most classes have decent teachers and a good set up. The front office is coordinated well and they are friendly. However, the school is very overcrowded and it can be hard to even walk to class without others stepping on your toes. If you want yourself (or your child) to feel as though they’re in a tight knit community and included everywhere: it may not be the school for you unless you are in involved multiple extra circulars. There are also 8 classes a day which makes it a little overwhelming and hard for the students to connect with others. I do like the patriot plus class because it allows for students to retake tests if needed or work on other assignments. Also, multiple people have experienced some of the teachers picking favorites and being unfriendly. There is also lots of physical fights on the school grounds involving students.Other Review2mo ago16 Reviews - Check out schools near Saint Augustine.

"The schools here are fantastic with abundant parent involvement. There are numerous outdoor activities such as water sports, fishing, indoor jumping houses, and a variety of clubs to join. There is always something going on, making it difficult to get bored. An added bonus is that you can unwind at the end of the day by dining at a restaurant with friends and family."
