3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe information on this page is out of date by at least three years. It lists Wisdom at the old address, with the old name, and the old scores. While its test scores are not the greatest if compared with the 'best schools' in Texas, it is a school capable of taking students from a variety of backgrounds, believes and origins and turning them into people who can handle the world beyond school. If you want your student to have a fantastic education, with the best programs, and stack on every advantage they have, I'll be honest and say this isn't that school yet. Every year we work toward that goal, but the realities of budget and population are still just that, a reality. If you want more, you'll have to move to a school with more funding in a richer area. However, if you are zoned to our school, your student will receive a worthwhile education and be ready to be an adult. It isn't perfect, but it isn't a 1/10.Teacher Review6y ago13 Reviews - Piney Point Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has the absolute worse staff, particularly the front. My sister encounter with some nasty attitude with a staff that didn’t have her Badge ID so she couldn’t get her name. My sister went nicely to pick up her sister and in return she got an ugly attitude which that needs to be fixed before someone checks her if she’s having a bad day it doesn’t mean she has to take it out on someone Just bitter person that she was. I don’t appreciate this at all. I believe first impression matters and hers was a 0/10 especially when My sister went in nicely and politely to pick up her sister.Parent Review4mo ago12 Reviews - Revere Middle School

"The community gets to enjoy food drives. They have enrichment programs for tenants who wish to participate. They have other drives that keep the community in the loop. "

"Very diverse. Minorities feel at home and not second class. Very accessible to many highways and streets as well "

"They would like it. People are able to walk their dogs in the various parks or surrounding communities in which they live. The dogs seem happy and the owner satisfied that they have the space to run and play with their pet. In some gated communities there are special dog parks for residents of that community."

"The neighborhood is very diverse. You have you Hispanics, Asians, etc. Because you are in a diverse area there are many different types of cuisine. The schools aren’t the best but you are in hisd so you apply for any hisd school. The parks are kept up with well and many families enjoy them. I like that you are a bout a 15 min commute from downtown and a 10 min commute from the galleria."

"It is affordable, but high crime low performing schools. I’ve lived here 9 years. Holidays dangerous. Tons of gun fire. "

"Dog owners would like that most people in the area are pet owners as well. Although, depending on the situation they would mind that sometimes you have dogs just barking for no reason in the middle of the night."

"I have about 5 dogs, my biggest pet peeve is living your dog out without a leash, they usually trigger my dogs by barking at them. I also don’t like is that they leave their dogs outside their patio in the summer/ winter, they get dehydrated just like we do but 10x more worst."
