5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is not having a great experience at South. The staff does little when harassment is reported, and my child was singled out and harassed repeatedly by staff and admin over refusal of math support services in lieu of a private tutor. At this writing, they are focused more on how well the students "perform" -(I am quoting one teacher's words) and not enough on how well they learn. We find the atmosphere to be a very stressful, chaotic one-and the students are belligerent and defensive. We have found that the creative arts departments are decent-for all the cuts in funding-but my child is looking forward to HS-hoping we will have a better overall atmosphere and learning experience.Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - Pennridge High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have a child with special needs, Avoid this school at all costs. Staff is very rude to the parents, no help at all for disabled students. They lie when questioned about meeting your child’s IEP request. We requested a full time 1:1 for my child, and we ended up finding out the 1:1 that was supposed to be there only my child was shared with 6 more students. Speech and OT is a joke. They do group sessions all the time, ignoring the ones that needs more attention and support. ABA? No even one progress slip throughout the entire year. We find it very sketchy that they don’t allow outside agencies to go and give the children the much needed help like some other schools do. My other kid used to tell us how he could hear the staff yelling and screaming at the special needs kids. When trying to find out why my child came with bruises and scratches almost every week, I was given some silly vague answers. “They never knew”. "I lived in this neighborhood for ten years the Schools are great it’s a great place to raise a family I don’t wanna move from this location but my family has grown I’m hoping to find a home bigger in the same location if not nearby this location but for those of you who are searching for a family please Take a look at Sellersville Perkasie Pennridge school district and for those of you who don’t have kids yet there’s still a lot of entertainment and it’s still safe neighborhood to live in"

"I’ve lived in this community for almost 4 years. Sellersville is kept clean, feels safe, and offers unique colonial homes. The small town boasts a fine dining establishment/hotel, a theater for live entertainment complete with a bar, cafes, antique shop, ice cream shop, medicinal marijuana dispensary, and other small businesses."

"I live about 3 miles away. It's not a bad area, there are walking/bike trails very close by and they are probably the biggest asset. There's a nice cafe, and a good ice cream shop nearby that are very popular. It's walking distance to 4+ banks, a grocery store, drugstore, McDonald's etc. Two decent restaurants within a mile or so. Sellersville and Perkasie are great communities to live in and have a lot of fun family-centered events throughout the year, Christmastime being the biggest one. Pennridge is a great school district and would recommend it to anyone."
