"Small town, wonderful people. We need new blood to help regrow our community. Come and help us make Oakridge thrive!"
  • Diana F.
"Live in this Beautiful, Recreational area. "
  • Terri
"The community is like what we used to have in the mid-1900's small town...everyone knows everyone; kids can play outside until the nightlights come on; and fishing is just a short walk down the road."
  • Terri K.
"Whether you buy my home or another one, you will be thrilled with moving to Oakridge! It is truly the most beautiful part of the United States! The weather here is different than you would think. We are above the fog-ling from the Valley and below the snow-line. Yes, it snows here in the winter, but not that much. In fact, it probably snows more in the Valley than here. The natural surroundings offer biking, hiking, mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, boating, swimming, and so many other opportunities right outside your door! Oakridge is definitely THE place to live."
  • Terri K.
"Oakridge, Oregon is one of the most scenic places on earth. It sits at the foot of the Cascade Mountains in the middle of the Willamette National Forest. Oakridge boasts the most sunny days each year in the state of Oregon. Outdoor activities abound: 500 miles of hiking and biking trails, numerous rivers and lakes within minutes, two ski lodges for winter sports within a 30 minute drive, a bus system to get you back and forth to Eugene several times a day, the prettiest drive from Eugene to anywhere, friendly neighbors, safe environment in which to raise your family, excellent schools, and many other attractions. It even has concerts in Greenwaters Park where different music venues, food, and crafts are available. The concerts are free to the public. Additionally, there are numerous events throughout the year, such as Tree Planting Festival and others. This is truly the place to live and raise your family."

"Oakridge is a tiny town nestled in the mountains 40 minutes East of Eugene and the I-5 corridor on beautiful Highway 58. Located in a sun belt just above the fog of the valley and below the snow line. Apparently the sun is found here 365 days per year according to the Guinness book of world records. Real seasons with snowy winters and hot summers. Unlike most of the Northwest, Oakridge is not rain soaked but we get enough that the grass is green and the trees are tall. Hunting, fishing, boating, biking, hiking, hot springs, 4-wheeling keep locals and tourists busy. Small town living: one grocery store, two gas stations, four fast food places, a dozen churches and almost as many bars. Not much to look at if just driving through on the highway but stop and explore and you will see the attraction."
  • Sheila M.
"I live here, however it is know for its beautiful scenery and a great place to live. Has recreational diversity. Homes with acreage at a great price with low taxes, which is difficult to find these days. Great weather and the sun shines every day!."
