4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely LOVE Clear Lake Elementary School. I was vey apprehensive about my daughter attending Kindergarten, especially after the Covid Lockdown. The teachers and staff are fantastic. They really care about each student and their families. My daughter cries if she has to stay home from school sick. She doesn’t want to miss out on anything. The Spring Music program is something we look forward to. Ms. Bender made the transition from home to Kindergarten seamless. She ignited a love of learning in my child. Ms. Cotter the absolute best 1st grade teacher. She sends out pictures of the kids and what they’re learning multiple times a week. Every Friday there is a news letter going over the weeks , lessons, special events, Judy everything. It also preps us for the week ahead. I have older children that attended 4j K-12. I felt so left out of the loop until conferences rolled around. And even then it didn’t seem like they cared all that much. Cear Lake feels like family. Mrs. Malala in the office goes above and beyond. Whether you call or message her through the app she immediately takes care of all your needs. I love the new covered play area, it ensures the kids still get outside during all the rain. The Library is full of our authors, like Mo Willems. Music and PE are equally loved my my child. Bus 7 has THE BEST bus driver , I have ever encountered. She is patient, kind and on time. If there is going to be any change she let’s me know right away. School morning relaxed and very pleasant here at home. My child is happy to get up and get ready for school and just go have the best day. None of that would be possible without the wonderful staff teachers Clear Lake Elementary I couldn’t be happier with the experience we’ve had. Actually, I could be happier, we have just found out that our beloved School will be closing due to budget cuts. This is very distressing. I like the pick up and drop off an easy stress, free event. some of the schools Close by have nightmare pick up and drop off. It’s like a congestion it takes forever. It’s just stressful. I will take an older, cozier school where kids get the attention and education they deserve. Those things are priceless. Soon she will become just a number in overcrowded classrooms , the fact that the building is newer is of little comfort. Hopefully the school board will see that our little school embodies all of the values of Bethel school district. I recommend this inclusive school to all.Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Danebo Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been to a lot of schools all over the country because of my husbands line of work. Danebo School has been very good for my children. The teachers, office ladies, the Principal and all the staff are very loving and helpful and they truly make the students feel special and important. I love this school. It's older and smaller and the class sizes are smaller than most in the area. The teacher are excellent! Parent volunteers are welcomed and appreciated.Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - Shasta Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 3 kids through Shasta. They experienced bullying, and continually degrading services by the school. My oldest daughter was even told You must have done something to provoke the bullying". She changed schools after that. Now, they've reduced time between classes from 6 to 4 minutes leaving my youngest with not enough time to use the restroom without being tardy or missing class time. Further, they have taken away the ability for kids to check their phones at lunch so parents can't communicate schedule changes, or kids can't ask to ride a different bus without bothering office staff. Thru also plan to start locking phones in pouches and charging parents if kids lose or damage them. The final straw was the removal of most electives. Band, art, or a better you, are the only electives. Needless to say Art was full so my daughter hates school this year. Add in the jail bars around the school, and this is a prison not a school.Parent Review8mo ago4 Reviews - Willamette High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHave had my kids in this school for last almost 5 school years now. My scores would have all been 1 Fully disagree due to this school and district treating my student at a dollar sign and that is it. They see that one of my student who is special needs has issues with a few boys on campus and yet even with a therapist saying her mental and physical health is at risk they deni us a Placement request to a total different district. They said the law says the issues at hand says they have to deni us the placement request. It has been fighting tooth an nail for proper IEP set up for one of our children. Our 2nd child is doing ok. There is a few teachers and vice principal which have lost one of good vice principals and a good teacher this year, but still a few good ones that truly care and want what is actually what is in the best interest of the student, being good role models, advocates, and mentors. Also the gates up and police on campus is a plus for some safety, but my daughter has been harrassed, threatened, put down, cornered, isolated, bullied since after covid and back to in campus all year up to currwnt date. Her anxiety, self isolation, depression, weight loss all are so bad that don't see how a school and district "Bethel School District" of West Eugene, Oregon could honestly only care about the dollars that follow the student and keep her here and through this and not grant a placement request to a fresh and safer request. I wish I had the money to move cause I would in a heart beat. Truly sadParent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near Primrose St.

"We don’t have any community events in my little neighborhood. Occasional garage sales, but nothing major. It’s quiet and that why I like it. 😊"

"We are on a quiet street without street parking allowed. We really like that we can walk our dogs and there’s only people around that live here. Usually not any strange people or riff-raff. All of our neighbors keep good care of their yards and take pride in their homes."
