"Taking your pets downtown to restaurant patios, the Yampa to swim and to live music outdoors plus access to lots of trails and dog parks"
  • Katie Loughlin
"I don't work but I enjoy being close to the resort, the hot springs, and grocery shopping. It's also really close to the schools and downtown, so being involved in school programs and ski lessons at Howelson is easy."
  • Daniel Paxson
"Great place to live highly recommend place to live !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
  • SARAH Z
"I work from home. The traffic can get a little congested during peak hours and tourist holiday, but nothing compared to Denver or other major cities. "
  • Julie
"Love our neighborhood - it’s safe, beautiful, well-maintained, friendly - with a park in the middle. "
  • Jennifer Calley
"This is a wonderful, supportive, close community in which to raise a family. Lots of opportunities and natural beauty to experience"
  • Coral Yeats
"My commute to work is a pleasant walk along the river. Driving can be difficult due to downtown parking restrictions. "
  • Courtney Irwin
"It’s very dog friendly almost anywhere you take your dog but it’s pretty hard to rent with pets, some renters will allow small dogs mostly no cats and no large breed dogs. "
  • Mortercarol
"This is a tourist tkwn. Very few year round residents. Their are dogs on the street. Some are let on restaurant patios"
  • Dori M. C.
"It’s nice, people are friendly, it’s beautiful all year round! Wish there was more than just local expensive shopping. Other than Walmart and City Market there aren’t too many other options for shopping. "
  • Eli H.
"That this is the best mountain town around. Everyone should experience this awesome town nvbjkdfhgidhg"
  • Ckmarketing
"Skiing. Biking. Dogs. Fishing. All things at Soda Creek Elementary. Cool neigh bb it's. Great community"
  • Laceyjwilliams
"This is not a pet friendly community. Almost all rental units forbid dogs and most of the home owners here are second home owners and do not actually live here. Therefore, if you are going to live here full time be aware that the city does not like dogs. Though most of the residents here do. "
  • Lindsay C.
"I'm located on the bus line so it's very easy to get where I need to go. except work. I have to ride my bike there."
  • Jessica M.
"Everyone always has a smile on their face. People are friendly, and are always willing to lend a helpful hand."
  • Sandy Pokay
"We've lived in this neighborhood over 30 years and we love it! Great parks, hiking trails, good neighbors!"
  • sherylmack66
"I've lived in this neighborhood since 2010. Neighbors are friendly & dog friendly, too. Great mountain views and 3 minutes to downtown and 6 minutes to the Ski Mountain."
  • Victoriapurple72
"is very beautiful place and very safe people here are very respectful good for to raise your family here I love steamboat springs Colorado "
  • Lori R.
"Easy to commute to my work, 25 min drive to Hayden. I also work in the summer at a golf course & public transportation is right out my front door at bus stop if needed. "
  • Andy
"It’s cold here. Super cold. Super duper cold. Sure seems like a nice place to live and hang out though "
  • Ufgator27
"Ski town with a community feel. Fantastic summer outdoor activities as well. Forced surveys are extremely annoying."
  • vscoyk
"One of the more sought after neighborhoods, 3 minutes to town and 5 minutes to Mtn are. The landscaping is mature."
  • Will S.
"We just moved here and we love it. It's close to everything. The "Core Trail" is seconds away, there is a bus stop right here and the Walton Creek is right across the street. We have a dog and it's great to jump on the core trail and walk around with no worries of vehicles. We can even jump on ur bikes and head downtown or up to the ski area. It's the best!"
  • Straesslemeister
"I live here, just a couple miles from Steamboat proper. It's quit, awesome family neighborhood. Our children are zoned to Strawberry Park Elementary. Neighbors are great. I don't miss not living "in town". We are there but not. We avoid busy weekends and tourist traffic. But the amenities and events , "in town" are there if we want it."
  • Mike W.
"This area continues to evolve as a summer and winter pedestrian-friendly neighborhood as well as a resort mecca. Base area planning includes a new waterway along Burgess Creek and summer recreation opportunities in the gondola plaza area. Some of Steamboat's best restaurants are walking distance and the nearby transit area buses will get you to the major supermarkets within five minutes, and downtown in 10."
  • Norbert T.
"This part of Steamboat is up the hill from Soda Creek and out of the main flow of traffic...what little there is anyway. The lots are larger and mostly south-facing, providing great views of Mt. Werner (Storm Mountain). The lack of a true through-road keeps traffic to local access only. This area is a true find."
