This school is by far the worst facility I have seen. The staff has no regard for the children they themselves actually become the bullies. They treat disabled children as if they are not welcomed in their schools. My children has no sense of safety.

Mt. Ida middle school is an awful school with mostly hateful teachers and principle. Everything is based on what your last name is as to what you can get away with and weather or not you have to follow the rules. The middle school principal is very unfair and judgmental. She has kids she likes and kids she doesn't. The kids she likes do not have to follow any rules and can get away with what ever they want. While the kids she doesn't like she picks on for every little thing and is continually putting them in detention. Two kids can do the same thing but only one of them get in trouble for it. It is unacceptable for a person of authority in a school to be see unfair. If your child is not one of the favored kids there is no hope the teachers and the principle will have it out for them from the beginning. I have seen this first hand when I worked there. On the other the high school is looking better and better under the direction of the new superintendent and principle.
