I was hired to be the bqnd director but on day one was told the posistion was for general music and got push back when I brought up the posistion information that stated they were hiring for a band director. They said they want a band but need to get kids interested in it first before developing the program so wanted a general music teacher instead. The school is also disserving students because they do not have sped resources for the overwhelming majority of students who require more assistance than they can get from a normal classroom. Students at this school are not held accountable for their behavior which is reflected in their test scores because the majority of the time they are running the halls and vandalising school property along with disrupting other teachers classrooms. The administration has the attitude that puts students at risk later in life because they are not developing a sense of accountability to do the right thing on theirbown without coxing. Being rewarded in food and candy for just going into a classroom most days.

Since 2012 Hamilton High enrollment has dropped, staff accreditation dropped, & student programs. I blame the district MSCS not MCS.
