A great school, the teachers are great. Maybe one or two are very strict, but as one teacher said "They rule with an iron fist." Teachers and principal is attentive, and bullying rarely happens. The children are happy and content, as well as the parents. After fifth grade, some kids go to locust Grove, and others go to Prospect. So that creates a separating feeling with some of the kids, although most go to Locust Grove.

Our daughter is starting her junior year and has had nothing but positive experiences thus far. She is taking 4 DE classes and is actively involved in sports and has been supported and encouraged to excel every step of the way in both pursuits. The governors school program has been a true blessing, keeping her education both challenging and rewarding. I believe any student willing to put in the work will be supported and successful. LET'S GO OC!

I think this school is great. I love the curricula. They teach my daughter the right things. "Class, who runs the government?" "We run the government!" I came back on leave from Iraq, and saw volunteer parents assisting at the book fair. My ex-wife would never do something like help out the school where her daughter learns, so I'm very glad to see that community involvement is encouraged during the school week here.

I go to this school currently and they have not taught any thing new since 5th grade which is in lightfoot I'm now a 7th grader they don't teach any thing new and they don't do anything to really help their students this is a horrible school to go to so never send your kids here.
