Davis High is a great school with great teachers. My son is a senior and has had a great experience. Competition is pretty high as the town (Davis) is a small community with a very large University of California campus, and thus is filled with parents who have advanced degrees and very high academic standards. I suspect academically weaker students will feel this, but on the other hand academically talented students will have the opportunity to excel. If your child is not academically strong (or at least average) they may be best served by other alternatives in Davis (Da Vinci High), a private school, or in nearby high schools.

Pioneer has set a great base for my kids as the teachers are very supportive and nice. Students are mostly respectful and are encouraged to engage in fun activities. Pioneer has leveled up my kids' learning and had major improvements in math, english and science.

Harper is a terrible school. The education is bad and the staff is horrible. But the sports are good hence why I gave 1 star.
