Kennard is a wonderful school on all levels- from the principal, teachers and staff to academics. This is a stellar school and have had nothing but a positive experience with both of my daughters.

I went here for a short time and this was the worst middle school I have ever been to. I've only been to 3 but my point still stand. Coming in in the middle of the year, I didn't know what I was doing and I felt very alone in this time. No students talked to me and my teachers were fine. I remember being ghosted by the guidance counselors and that spawned a distrust for counselors that I still have. It felt like I was trying my hardest to make this school worth anything and it just wasn't giving me anything back. It was like being on a island. The lack of support made it very confusing when I got sexually assaulted and I didn't know who to even go to for that kind of thing. Overall, it was a very isolating experience and has (unfortunately) stuck with me to this day 3 years later. I hope that this review will make someone look after, help, and support the next new kid as they failed to do with me.

We have 5 kids and sought out a home in Queen's Annes county because of the excellent schools including this one. This is an amazing school that outperforms area private schools across the board. The school uses a "Character Counts" program to instill positive learning and social skills in the students and provide an easy reference point for teaching, The students and teachers represent diverse backgrounds, and parents are highly engaged with the activities of the school. The teachers and administrators are highly professional and most have been teaching at this school for years. Many sought placement at this school as their final position before retirement. The school provides excellent special needs support and is enmeshed in the vast educational opportunities of the area.

Queen Anne’s County High School is the amazing school. And the teachers in the class are excellent!!
