4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a mother of a special needs child this school was awful to us as a family. They were cruel to my child they didn’t change their approach to my child after my child was diagnosed. They called us to pick up our child every day practically so we were unable to maintain a job. They suspended my child for having meltdowns. They are by far the most incompetent cold and least compassionate staff I’ve ever met. I have older kids and have experienced many schools throughout my life. I’ve lived in several countries and states throughout my life yet I have never had experienced such a disgusting group of judgmental humans. The principal and assistant principal are rotten to the core. Stay far away from this school especially if your child is special needs or unique in any way. They will crush the light from them not foster their unique ability or see their gifts.. They will only see their flaws. In addition, they protect their staff. They won’t give you the full story ever only tell you how your child behaved but not what lead up to the behavior. Such a shady school. My kids would come home with marks and bruises but they had speech delays and weren’t able to let me know what exactly went on at school.. Both of my kids hated coming here and that in itself told me everything.. they would cry in the morning when I would drop them off. Horrible experience so glad to be out of there and in a place that accepts my children and loves them and fosters are growth. I would’ve read this school less than one star if I could. Westside Elementary will always be the one school that I look back on that left such a bad taste in my mouth.Parent Review7mo ago5 Reviews - Fox Chapel Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCame from another Hernando County HS, and hands down this one is sooo much better. Everyone has been super helpful in getting my son acclimated. The principal’s calls with updates about what is going on at the school is appreciated. For the first time since we left a charter school in Pasco, my son comes home and says he had a good day and that the teachers seem to care!!Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near Middlesex Dr.

"Friendly neighborhood, people are nice. Highly encourage families to move into this area. Only downside is the increased traffic moving here from Tampa as their housing market is saturated."

"Moved to Spring Hill when it was still rural and now growing at a rapid pace. More access to shopping now, but traffic has also increased. That said, it is a great place to live."
