4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my opinion, this school is not a good place for learning. As a student here, I see constant issues every day. Teachers often pretend to teach only when the principal or staff are nearby, and the rest of the time there is little real instruction happening. There is nonstop fighting in the hallways, classrooms, and even outside, and it often goes unpunished. Some teachers allow the chaos to continue without stepping in. The PC teacher will yell at students for no clear reason, creating an uncomfortable environment. Stealing is also a big problem, with students taking belongings from others without consequences. Overall, this school feels unsafe and unproductive. I strongly suggest looking for a better school for your children where they can actually learn and feel safe.Student Review10mo ago3 Reviews - Ford Road Elementary School

"The best part about Memphis’ lack of growth is the lack of traffic. Commutes are easy if your car is able to withstand poor roads and you are willing to look both ways before proceeding at a green light"

"There are a lot of families in the neighborhood. The kids love to play outside. Like with any Memphis neighborhood though, the streets can turn rough very quickly. "

"They should not be allowed to walk loose on the street, they are dangerous, they can bite a person and they would be in trouble, they would not like that."
