6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not send your kid to this schoolIt is nothing but a den of snakes and its staff and faculty have no second thoughts about how their kid is doing at homeDuring the middle-end of 2025, the school district was under the impression that I was doing unwell mentally. Im not gonna go into details about it, but just get a clue.Either way, the school handled it god awfully. Instead of taking the time to talk to me, they sent me straight home and suspended me for a few days. That's not necessary the best way to handle something like that, believe it or not.Student Review2mo ago8 Reviews - John F Kennedy Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst, and yet we pay the highest taxes. The students have zero field trips, the administration cancels most activities, the sports fields are disgusting, and extra curricular activities are limited at best. Student behavior is out of control, security guards have been hired, and yet they harass good students, and are friendly with trouble makers. Administration doesn't punish bad behavior, so inappropriate things continue. Students struggle to learn in class due to outbursts from incorrigible students. Instead of removing those students, teachers send work home as homework, making students learn on their own. My children are good students, who are friendly, and always do the right thing. They have been bullied, lost in the chaos, and continued to be disappointed by this school system. This school claims to educate the whole child, and yet they take away many experiences that would help do that.Parent Review4y ago1 Reviews - Theodore Roosevelt School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average"T! R!" (as its known to those of us who love it.......) is an excellent school for 3 reasons: 1. A confident, enthusiastic, and communicative Principal who sets the tone for the school, by his leadership. 2. A caring and experienced teaching and non-teaching staff who clearly work together as a team, for the benefit of the students. 3. A teaching staff that has obviously chosen TR as their school of choice. This is reflected in their hard work and dedication. I am a parent of a child at the school; I am also a professional educator with 30 years' experience in the classroom. Keep up the great work!Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews - Woodrow Wilson Elementary School

"The streets in Buffalo New York are terrible and need to be repaired and maintained properly, not just patches in the roads. "

"I have lived at shady acres 10 plus years. It went from a happy fun loving comfortable place to live with hundreds of trees ,great people and respectful neighbors. That all changed once harmony communities bought the place . Once they bought it you are not treated like a tenant you are treated like property, they have made up rules on the fly , purposely fine you without any notification increase rent to the max every year with no justification, try to implement illegal extra charges . The management is a dictatorship along with his boss who will never call you back on a complaint or fix any bad situation. Horrible place to live, Horrible management. "

"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 30 years. Even though it has what’s considered a Buffalo zip, it’s actually in the Town of Tonawanda. Good schools, great Town services. The neighborhood is very diverse, I’m white and a lesbian. We have “traditional” white families and also many new homeowners are immigrants from around the world. There’s a new playground in the area also a Boys & Girls Club that is great for after school care. We are within walking distance of the Niagara River with easy access to both the 190 and 290 expressways "

"Lots of walking routes and plenty of small park areas. High population means for more dog encounters for friendly pups but also more sniffing spots for those that prefer to avoid leash meetings with others."
