Maxam rd off, Johnsburg, NY 12843

As a parent of a student that attends JCS, if I must give JCS rating, on a scale of 1 to 10. One being the worst and ten being the best, I'd rate JCS at -1. JCS is by far the worst school in this area, but unfortunately it happens to be the only one available in the district. Many families in the town of johnsburg are not financially capable of utilizing other options in the area. For instance, sending their children to other schools in neighboring towns that are in close proximity to the town of johnsburg, for which you have to pay an extreme amount of tuition for as though it were a private school and not a public one. that alone leaves many parents in this town without any option other than JCS and those same parents also cannot afford to relocate to another town with better schools and better opportunities for education. So if I could at least be afforded the opportunity to send my child to another school in a neighboring town I absolutely would. As I understand it, North Warren Central School is a quality school, that provides access to a quality education. Unfortunately I can't afford the tuition for a public school never mind a private one, nor could I afford to relocate to that district like many other people in this town.
