Started my career out in KISD. Cara Trevino was my principal, she offered no support and never told me anything positive. I taught special ed math, she never taught math nor special ed but gave me terrible reviews despite being out of her depth while also negating my stellar Staar scores. Stay far away, special ed is not valued and new teachers are run into the dirt by people like her.

Tengo muy mala experiencia con esta escuela. Mi hijo jamás había tenido tantos problemas en una escuela. Poca motivación. Y a la vez que la toman personal con un estudiante es como si le pusieran un sello para el resto de sus días. No sé preocupan para nada por la salud mental de los niños. Son bien poco profesional. En ningún momento me sentí bienvenida ni tratada con respeto. Tuve dudas en cuanto a una alegaciones sobre mi hijo y nunca aclararon mis dudas. Otros estudiantes estaban envueltos en la misma situación de mi hijo y nunca fueron sancionados pero mi hijo si y yo lleve evidencia a la escuela y la miraron y el otro estudiante nunca fue sancionado. De verdad una total pesadilla. Por parte de los principales de la escuela era solo sus alegaciones y yo con Miles de dudas y ellos solo le importaba que le firmara los papeles en cuanto a las acusaciones de ellos sobre mi hijo. Mi hijo mostró problemas de salud contra su propia vida y mientras me daban los papeles para que los firmara como que me habían orientado cuando NO me orientaron en nada la consejera comía papitas como si nada pasara . Me dieron papeles como que los servicios de salud mental eran gratis cuando no era así en fin un desastre. Y en la misma acera por dónde caminas hacia la oficina sobre de papeles para fumar . Enserio? negativo . No la recomiendo

My son started this school year and was so excited about finally getting to go to school. Since he has attended he has learned so much, hes one of the top students in class and is basically the teachers constant helper which is very helpful because my son needs to help he gets bored very quickly and ms. Linton has taken this into consideration and made him a helper whenever she can. She grades his work and gives him stars and if its anything but yellow she writes a note telling me the reason. I love this school and if we weren't moving both my sons would be attending this upcoming school year!
