6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think Nelsonville York is a great school system, I think kids are tought very well and go on to do great things in the world. I am a graduate of NY as well as my husband, we are also both college grads. Our son is in 5th grade has been on Merit Honor Roll every year and is also in the tag program. We did move away for a bit, but returned finding that NY was more advanced than the other school he was attending. As for the football stadium being built that money was in most part donated by a local business and you cannot tell people what to do with their personal money. And we may be a smaller district so that does limit the extras we have, you cant have everything if you dont have they numbers to support it. And we may not have all the money in the worl either but thats an issue that our State Gov needs to deal with! I am very happy with our school. I love that the teachers know the kids they know the parents and they are always there whne you need them..Parent Review15y ago
