6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible, all because of the new administration. The new principal and vice principal are the worst there ever was. They don't pay attention to the right students and are extremely insensitive to all students. They can't acknowledge that some students have responsibilities and problems outside of school and they proceed to treat those students worse compared to others. This school is also very underfunded all because the principal spends money on decorating offices, gifts for staff, (ect.) There are no dances where the whole school can attend because the school can't afford it anymore, the only dance of the school year is in June and is only exclusive to 8th graders. In the 2023-2024 school year, there have been at least 18-20 fights as of April 2024. The principal decided to make a rule where students can only stay in the gym or cafeteria in the mornings and that can only lead to more fights. The administration could not care less about the student's needs and that has to change one day. The office secretary's are the only people who make sure the students are okay while the principals are just there to get a check.Student Review2y ago10 Reviews - Gilbert Park Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers care, but they are not supported. if your kid is falling behind or inconvenient, they seem to label them as bad and offer minimal help, which I am not convinced is even given unless followed up on rigorously. They barely listen to concerns and seem to have behavior and academic problems all figured out no matter what input a parent gives, and extra is only provided if you ask to record meetings.... I do not trust the staff, with my child's well-being or academics. Luckily, they have a lot of outside help. I would avoid this school and district at all costs!Parent Review2mo ago4 Reviews - David Douglas High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDavid Douglas’ current student here, I would not recommend anyone to this school. Racism, hatred, vaping,… are increase year by year in this school, and the school staff or teacher, even principal show no signs of being concerned about the matter. They just talked about it in Advisory and didn't care about this issue after that. The lunch food is disgusting. My parents even discuss about some problem to the school's survey but did not receive any response. They don't care about any complaints from parents. And don't expect to receive any useful support because they only give superficial help and hope you won't bother them too much.Student Review2y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Levy code 113.

"There is a city park for at least every 1.5 square miles and it is surrounded by places to explore and enjoy nature. Such as Powell Butte, Springwater Corridor, Foster Wetlands, Kelly Butte, Johnson Creek and much more. It's a great neighborhood for dogs. Public Transportation is really good."

"House lots are big and dog owners would like the backyard space for their dogs. walking around is quiet, no loose dogs. There are no sidewalks, and that makes safe walking in the street difficult in some areas, ours is a dead end and that’s somewhat better, but sidewalk would be nice, and some side street have them and some don’t."
