I realize that this is a small town, with very few resources, and the quality of the teaching staff is based on the demographics of the area, and that is unfortunate, How can you expect to get quality teachers to come out and live in the desert so they can teach? That is the problem, the best teachers want to work in the city where there are more tax dollars for their school needs, what Lucerne Valley get's is the left overs, the teachers that can't find work any where else leaving them no choice but to come to the outlaying areas to find work. it isn't anyones fault it is just how the system works. This is a tough area to live in because there are no Jobs to support the population. Parents are forced to drive long distances for employment, and I suppose they don't have the time nor energy to demand a better school environment for their student.

"Friendly , kind neighbors. Hometown feel. The grandkids are able to walk to school together and they are safe. This is a very patriotic town and we have the best firework display ever. Come , have a seat and watch the stars !"

"My neighborhood is very secluded very quiet and dark. I could see the stars. I have a beautiful view of the mountains. It gets very hot in the summer, usually in the 90's to low 100's. In the winter it can get as low as high 20' low 20's at night. "
