"Mixed generational neighborhoods, great for raising a family. Great schools, nice parks."
    • Habibi Fr
"Dog owners would like the quiet streets, sidewalks for walking, and nearby parks in Livonia. The neighborhood feels safe and generally pet-friendly, which makes daily walks enjoyable. However, some areas could use more dog waste stations, and not all neighbors pick up after their pets, which can be frustrating. Overall, it’s a good area for dog owners but could improve with better pet etiquette and a few more dedicated dog-friendly spaces."
    • Dustin Mcgowan
"So many people walking dogs and are friendly. A lot of park areas to take your dog. There are no off-leash parks so that’s a drawback. There could easily be a half dozen and they would all get frequent visitors."
    • Rickyreyna
"It’s a great community, friendly neighborhood, public places are well maintained, convenient location to reach several places in half hour or less"
    • Teresaparrom62

    • lynnnicko
"We are retired. We are near the 96 / 275 free ways which makes it easy to get to pretty much anything, hospitals, dining, shopping, churches and social events. Livonia has been a wonderful place to raise a family. There are good police and fire departments, libraries and good people!"
    • Plouchas
"Our HOA does at least 5 events each year for all ages; elderly to infants welcome. Our Halloween parade is always a great time!"
    • Melinda Doan Bryce
"I suppose there’s the Livonia Spree in July but we don’t participate in a lot of community events. We do use the library and go to art fairs and such in Plymouth which is close."
    • Trulia User
"Family neighborhood. Lots of dogs. A few rentals. Close to shopping. A bit noisy at times with traffic. Noise from new houses being built. "
    • Michael W.
"I lived in Livonia since 1989. Outstanding community. Safe, secured and well-managed. Previously lived in Canton Township and Livonia "blows away" the Canton experience. Older communities but good strong neighbor relations. "
